Dr. Stephen Rauls graduated from medical
school from UAMS in 1978. His residency was completed at LSU in 1982
where he was chief resident. He is board certified by the American Board
of OB/GYN. He has practiced medicine and surgery in northeastern
Arkansas since 1982.
His practice
interests are minimally invasive gynecological procedures and pelvic
pain. He is interested in liposuction to correct contour problems
arising from pregnancy, hormonal change and menopause. He also maintains
an interest in laser and pulsed light applications for medical and
cosmetic problems.
BILLING INFORMATION:
Gynecology Services
We participate in
most major private insurance company plans. Insurance will be billed for
non-cosmetic, gynecology services provided. Co-payment and deductibles
are expected to be paid at the time of service. Cash, check, and major
credit cards are accepted.
Cosmetic Services
All cosmetic services
and non-covered procedures are quoted on an individual basis and are
required to be paid in advance of the service. We are unable to bill
any third party for these services.
Liposuction
Services
Liposuction quotes
are based upon: (1) the area/areas being treated, (2) the degree of
difficulty of the case. Since there is considerable variation from
person to person, liposuction quotes are made on an individual basis.
Liposuction quotes
are global and include all lab fees, surgery center fees, anesthesia/
drug fees, physician fees, postoperative garments, and postoperative
visits.
For our out of
town clients, our global fee includes an additional package:
1. Office visit the afternoon before surgery.
2. 2 nights lodging for 2 persons
3. Nursing visit the evening of surgery.
4. Office visit the morning after surgery.
Payment Schedule
It is our office policy for patients to pay half of the total
liposuction fee as a down payment at the time liposuction is scheduled.
The balance of the fee is to be paid 10 days before the cosmetic
procedure. Final payment may be made with Visa or MasterCard, personal
check or cash. If final payment is not received 10 days before
liposuction, your surgery date may be postponed.
